16 FEB: DINNER AT RESTAURANT LA BODEGUILLA
The club met for the February monthly dinner at restaurant La Bodeguilla in Xàbia. As always, the food was great, the service was great and the atmosphere was great. John Mackney gave a talk about his Ocean Adventures, speaking about the many ocean crossings he has made in his own boat and others he has skippered or crewed on. The talk was presented along with slides and pictures, accompanied all the time by many amusing anecdotes. CBYA Quiz Night at the Kawana Bar. A good crowd of members and a few guests signed up for the first CBYA Quiz night in an age. Our quiz master Richard set some great questions; some geography, some sport, some sailing and some trivia for the teams to ponder over. 01 JAN: NEW YEAR'S DAY DINGHY EVENT
The beach and restaurant area of El Portet, Moraira was heaving with people partying. It was so crowded in fact that it was a struggle to actually reach the beach.
